Things of God Spoken Word Poetry
Arise
Things of God by Emily Ulman
Things of God, What Scripture Reveals Our Spirit Experiences During Our Dying shares the results of much time spent in God’s Word. I’m now on a quest that, though I would never have chosen it, I can’t not continue. My quest is to get this book into the hands so many struggling with their end of life coming sooner than expected, and those struggling with loss. I find it a comfort and a powerful tool; one I think Christ has big plans to use to impact His Kingdom for His glory.
His kingdom to further, revealed through Scripture
Experience anew His Presence of truth
In faith confident; on Christ dependent
The Voice of God, wisdom called; forthputting, out crying
Seeking, throughout the earth searching
Everywhere, from every quarter sounding
Unto you O man, calling
That none may miss; give ear, O simple and foolish
Pleads does the Wisdom of God
For your spirit to respond
This speaking Voice a fact
Note how men react; O man, react
Not to hear, untrain your ears
Avoid the tragedy, eternal your welfare
In deepest dependency
A response is sought but secured rarely
My darling, arise
My beautiful one, come with Me, see
The season has come of singing
Arise, beloved Mine, come with Me
